Adams Off Road Shop does not supply warranty for any customer supplied parts. Our warranty process is in partnership with our manufacturers, vendors and other suppliers. If we did not supply the part, we can not guarantee the repair. Installation of customer supplied parts will be determined on a case by case basis. We realize that we sometimes are unable to acquire particular brands and in such cases we may consider installing a customer provided part.

Customer supplied parts are subject to an increased hourly shop rate as there are too many variables to consider when working with customer supplied components. When customers purchase parts from our shop directly, you can ensure that our team has done our due diligence to ensure that the components ordered are going to work properly for your application. However, in case there are fitment issues and parts are missing out of the manufacturers box, this will be something that Adams Off Road Shop will handle on your behalf. When customers supply parts for a project, we still are required to do our due diligence to ensure that the parts you ordered are actually for your vehicle and that they are going to function as intended. In today’s market there are literally millions of products available for a variety of applications. These products do not always come as advertised, and usually it is the end user that has to deal with the outcome. Fortunately, we fight for the right to install quality products in our customers’ vehicles so you can ensure a hassle-free experience. If we do not want to install your provided product, it is not personal, it is just speaking from experience from issues we have seen over the past 20 years in this trade. We are doing our best to protect you and our business from unnecessary stress and complications.

If you supply parts for a job, the installation or repair will be charged on an hourly basis. If parts are missing, broken, incorrect or we are otherwise required to halt the installation process due to these concerns, you will be responsible for the hourly charge while the vehicle is on the hoist until we come to a resolution. You will be notified if this is the case so we can determine a solution to move forward.
